The West Otter Tail SWCD can provide large scale conservation-based tree plantings to assist landowners with shelterbelts, field windbreaks, wildlife habitat plantings, and any applicable conservation practices.
The district will conduct a site visit to look at the site before agreeing to any planting. Planting map designs will also include recommended suitable species, tree and shrub numbers and a cost estimate at no charge.
Weed matting fabric is optional for tree plantings but is available. Pricing based on planting design details.
